Brief description
All and whole (one) all and whole (first) those forty-three falls of ground or thereby all now enclosed lying on the east end of the millhill of musselburgh and on the north side of the high road leading to the stone bridge across the dam; and (second) that piece of ground measuring one rood six falls and a quarter scots measure lying on the north of what was formerly the boundary wall (now taken down) of the garden first hereinbefore described; with the dwellinghouse known as trafalgar lodge and all other buildings erected on the said subjects, all lying in the county of edinburgh (now midlothian) and being the whole subjects disponed by and particularly described in disposition by the trustees of the late john legat in favour of the former loretto school limited (since liquidated), dated nineteenth, twentieth, and twenty-first april and recorded in the division of the general register of sasines for the county of edinburgh (now midlothian) on the sixteenth day of may all in the year nineteen hundred and thirteen; (two) all and whole those two pieces of ground extending respectively to forty-seven falls or thereby and thirty-one poles fifteen yards or thereby, lying on the east end of the millhill of musselburgh, in the burgh of musselburgh, parish of inveresk and county of edinburgh (now midlothian), with the house known as "holm house" erected thereon, being the subjects disponed by and particularly described in disposition by willam john dickson in favour of the former loretto school limited (since liquidated) dated, tenth and recorded in the said division of the general register of sasines, fifteenth both days of may nineteen hundred and eighteen; and (three) all and whole the subjects known as "balcarres" consisting of those two pieces of ground lying in the end of the millhill of musselburgh and on the north side of the high road leading to the stone bridge across the dam, within the liberties of musselburgh, parish of inveresk and county of midlothian (formerly edinburgh), with the buildings and other erections on the said two pieces of ground, being the whole subjects disponed by and particularly described in disposition by the trustees of the late james lamb bisset with consent in favour of the former loretto school limited (since liquidated), dated twenty-third, twenty-fifth and twenty-seventh all days of april and recorded in the said division of the general register of sasines on seventeenth day of may all in the year nineteen hundred and thirty-five all as said subjects are now known as trafalgar lodge, 27-39 millhill, musselburgh EH21 7RH.
